Teacher Development

Every month, JWOC runs teacher training workshops to develop the skills of its teachers and scholarship students. Taught by CELTA qualified and experienced teachers, these workshops are practical introductions for JWOC teachers to internationally recognized communicative techniques for teaching second languages. Workshops include “Teaching children,” “Games and Activities,” “Using Supplementary Resources,” “Teaching Listening,” “Presenting Grammar,” and more.

JWOC also provides monthly pronunciation workshops for all JWOC scholarship students and JWOC teachers who want to work on this aspect of their English.
