Back to School!

Across the world, kids are preparing to head back to school including here in Southeast Asia. Children everywhere look forward to going back to school and being able to see their friends and to start studying again. However, for many young students in Southeast Asia, going back to school is not easy and for many it is almost impossible.

While government schools in Southeast Asia are free to attend, parents must often still pay school fees and other school related costs such as uniforms, school materials and extra classes to help their children pass each year. For many families, this is too much of a stretch. Those children that are lucky enough to attend school often find their learning hindered by limited resources and over-worked teachers.

JWOC is asking for your help to give children in the places where we work the chance to go to school and enjoy their right to an education. Please take a look at our "Back to School" wishlist below and help us in any way you can to change these young lives in this part of the world! You would be surprised how far a small amount of money can go and how many lives it can change. Everything helps as we look to send as many children as possible BACK TO SCHOOL!
